Looks like I’m getting to that age, as an artist, where I feel the need to submit images to competitions. Some clicks and hopefully “vote” clicks would be greatly appreciated!
This year promises to be a memorable one! Stommel Photography, Treehead Threads, and Clifton Stommel (fine artist) are the only things I intend to focus on this year; it’s full-on professional artist/business owner mode.
Sink or float, this is the year to “go for it”.

As long as we’re sharing demon-ish sketches, this was one of the things I sketched up during the brainstorming session that led to Passion’s birth. I thought it was sweet until someone mentioned what it looked like, so I added a little naysayer and speech bubbles accordingly.
I hope your Christmas went well! Mine was eventful. Family, friends, many text and facebook wishes. You know how it goes. This is a sketch that turned into my favorite sculpture that I’ve ever made.

Cat portraits?! Ring lights are designed for this kind of work. Also, there’s probably a “content doesn’t originate here, but don’t you dare post anything that’s been posted here before” website that would appreciate an entire project based around portraits of cats.
